Visa guide
Any foreigner who intends to enter the Republic of Korea must hold a valid passport and a visa.
If the visa has expired or the purpose of visit does not match the visa type, the visa holder may be denied entry into the Republic of Korea.

- Any of the following foreigners may enter the Republic of Korea without a visa:

- Any person who is a national of a country that has entered into a Visa Exemption Agreement with the Republic of Korea;
- Any person who has been granted an entry permission, as provided under the Presidential Decree;
- Any person who has obtained permission to reenter or is exempted from requiring permission for reentry;
- Any person who departed from the Republic of Korea with an issued refugee travel certificate, and is reentering the country before the term of validity has expired.
