Initial Orientation Course for Immigrats
This program provides basic education about Korean law, order, culture and Immigration-related information for foreign nationals who are planning a long-term stay in Korea. Foreign workers with a Work and Visit (H-2) visa or foreign entertainers with a Hotel and Adult Entertainment (E-6-2) visa shall complete Initial Orientation Course for Immigrants as a prerequiste for Alien Registration application.

- Foreign students enrolled in a Korean university
- Foreigners who reside in areas with a high number of expatriates
- Foreign entertainers with a Hotel and Adult Entertainment (E-6-2) visa who perform at hotels, adult entertainment venues, etc.
- Marriage migrants (recommend to take the course with their Korean spouse)
- Foreign minors (F-1-52, F-2-2) born outside Korea between a marriage migrant and Korean spouse and currently staying in Korea
- Overseas Koreans with foreign nationality (H-2, F-4), etc.

- Benefits of completion

- Grant permission to stay for 2 years for marriage migrants who received Alien Registration (Foreigners subject to entry restrictions are excluded)
- Grant 2 hour credits for those who completed KIIP. The completion of course is equal to 2 hour credits for initially assigned course of KIIP. However, no credits are given to level 0 course.
